The Customer Experience Specialist’s primary role is to greet, check-in customers, and handle all sales transactions including monetary exchange. The CES will provide the best customer service experience while demonstrating the Company’s Core Values. The CES will keep the checkout areas clean, well-stocked, and organized. The CES will verify all credit card transactions to ensure the proper person is using the proper card. They are also responsible for counting the contents of the cash drawer at the end of each shift, maintaining receipts, records, and refunds. The Customer Experience Specialists will be managed by the Assistant Manager/Operations Manager.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
· Greet customers when entering or leaving the establishment
· Collect payments; handle cash and/or credit transactions with customers
· Issue change and refunds
· Receive and check all returns
· Count money in cash drawers at the beginning and end of shifts to ensure that amounts are correct and that there is adequate change
· Schedule pick-up appointments (as needed)
· Resolve customer complaints, guide them and provide relevant information
· Maintain clean and tidy checkout areas
· Keep reports of transactions
· Answer customers' questions and get a supervisor if the answer does not solve the issue
· Pleasantly and respectfully interact with customers to ensure satisfaction
· Warehouse Safety; Wear the proper safety equipment
· Ability to safely utilize all associated warehouse equipment
· Maintain workstation following standard operating procedures and safety guidelines

PHYSICAL DEMANDS:
The employee must frequently lift and/or move up to 50lbs. When lifting more than 50lbs, two or more team members will lift the load. The employee is required to stand; walk; reach with hands and arms; climb or balance and stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl in extreme heat and/cold.
