Neighbors Counseling Services is Hiring an Executive Administrative Assistant Near Denton, TX

Neighbors Counseling Services is a leading private counseling and marketing practice catering to individuals in the Denton and Allen areas, as well as providing online services to clients across Texas and Wisconsin. We are currently seeking a dynamic executive assistant to bolster our team and support the entry-level management roles of our co-owners.

This opportunity is perfect for a college student or an individual eager to immerse themselves in the realm of mental health and healthcare. Operating hours are typically Monday through Friday from 10 am to 2 pm, offering flexibility for individuals balancing other commitments.

Based primarily in Denton, this role entails approximately 25% travel to our Allen office, with the possibility of virtual work once fully acclimated and demonstrating a comprehensive understanding of the position and the owners' requirements. Responsibilities

- Screening and directing phone calls and distributing correspondence

- Produce reports, presentations and gathering of needed documents or supplies

- Following simple claims submission process and schedule management

- Handle charging card on file for sessions and communication of payment for declined charges

- Maintain confidentiality of all patient information in compliance with HIPAA regulations

- Able to travel on 25% of the time to the Neighbors Counseling Allen office or for event in the Collin County area.

Skills

- Familiarity with counseling and mental health profession

- Ability to show listening skills of assistance to the owners management roles

- Able to maintain confidentiality of sensitive information

- Familiarity with counseling and mental health profession

- Ability to understand how to use technology and software

- Ability to multitask and prioritize daily workload

- Excellent verbal and written communications skills

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $14.00 - $20.00 per hour

Expected hours: 18 – 24 per week

  • High school or equivalent (Required)

Experience:

  • Medical billing: 1 year (Preferred)
  • Customer relationship management: 1 year (Required)
  • Personal assistant: 1 year (Preferred)

  • Denton, TX (Required)

Ability to Relocate:

  • Denton, TX: Relocate before starting work (Required)
