Neighbors Counseling Services is Hiring a LPC-Associate Near Allen, TX

**Overview:**

We are seeking a Licensed Professional Counselor Associate to join our team. The ideal candidate will have expertise in a variety of counseling techniques and experience working with diverse populations in a private practice setting as a student intern or LPC associate. This position will be provided with free internal LPC-S supervision and be able to bill for insurance through supervisory billing.

This role will be a hybrid of intake consultations and seeing clients independently under supervision. This role and all therapists at Neighbors Counseling Services are 1099 practitioners and offer flee split for services rendered. LPC associates rates are 60% of the service paid by the client or reimbursed by insurance through supervisory billing at the contracted rate of the supervisors NPI credentialing. Intake consultations are paid at a flat rate.

**Responsibilities:**

- Conduct 10-12 hours of initial intake consultations and match potential new clients with Neighbors Counseling Services therapist or community partners under the direction of the owner manager.

- Provide specialized care for individuals with post traumatic stress, anxiety, depression, and other mental health concerns.

- Maintain accurate and up-to-date clinical documentation and independently maintain a caseload of 12-15 clients.

- Provide marketing and attend all required network meetings and events as directed by owners or community liaison.

**Requirements:**

- Must hold a valid license as a Professional Counselor Associate.

- Experience working with children and adults is preferred.

- Experience with trauma informed approaches.

- Proficiency in conducting diagnostic evaluations and providing evidence-based treatments.

- Knowledge of individual counseling techniques.

- Familiarity with diverse background of therapy modalities to match clients with therapist.

- Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work effectively within a team environment.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Contract

Pay: $50,000.00 - $62,000.00 per year

Expected hours: 20 – 32 per week
