Nectar Life is Hiring a Retail Brand Training Manager Near Las Vegas, NV

Reports to: Director of Retail, VP of Operations

Direct Reports: Non-Supervisory


Primary Purpose:
The Brand Training Manager serves as the driving force behind Nectar Life's customer experience, operational excellence, and high-performance selling culture. With a primary responsibility for implementing and following up on brand standards, product knowledge, sales journey, upselling, maintaining visual standards, and operational systems and routines, the Brand Training Manager oversees all training and development needs across all Nectar Life store locations spanning all categories. They direct the work of direct reports and are accountable for fostering a culture of engagement and associate development.


Talent Development:

  • Execute all training and development needs across all Nectar Life locations, encompassing product knowledge, sales techniques, customer service skills, and operational procedures, ensuring all store teams are equipped with the necessary skills and knowledge to execute tasks effectively.

  • Develop and implement training programs tailored to the specific needs of each store team, ensuring consistency in training delivery and content, while focusing on building their capability to execute tasks independently.

  • Provide ongoing coaching and feedback to associates to support their skill development and performance improvement, empowering them to execute tasks with confidence and proficiency.

  • Collaborate with store managers to identify skill gaps and training needs, developing targeted training initiatives to address these areas, and providing guidance on how to effectively execute tasks to meet brand standards.

  • Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of training programs through performance metrics and feedback mechanisms, making adjustments as necessary to enhance effectiveness and improve the ability of store teams to execute tasks.

  • Foster a culture of continuous learning and development, encouraging associates to pursue opportunities for skill enhancement and career advancement within the organization, thereby ensuring a consistently high level of task execution across all store teams.

Brand Management:

  • Set visual merchandising expectations to brand standards, ensuring that store layouts, displays, and signage reflect the brand's image and messaging effectively. Provide training to store teams on how to execute these visual standards.

  • Ensure that store operations are aligned with brand standards, including inventory management, stock replenishment, and store cleanliness. Train store teams on the correct procedures and expectations for executing these tasks.

  • Communicate brand updates, promotions, and initiatives to store teams, ensuring consistent messaging and execution across all locations. Provide training on how to effectively execute tasks related to these brand initiatives.

  • Act as a brand ambassador, embodying the brand's values and ethos in interactions with associates and customers alike. Provide training to store teams on how to represent the brand effectively and consistently.

Capability Enhancement:

  • Work with store managers to develop and implement daily/weekly training agendas, ensuring that all training objectives are met within specified timeframes, and provide guidance on how to effectively execute tasks included in these agendas.

  • Monitor associate performance and provide timely feedback and coaching to support skill development and performance improvement, focusing on building their capability to execute tasks independently and effectively.

  • Recognize and reward associates for exemplary performance and achievement of training goals, fostering a positive and motivating work environment that encourages continued growth and development.

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, such as marketing and product development, to provide input and insights on training needs and opportunities, and provide training to store teams on how to effectively execute tasks related to these cross-functional initiatives.

  • Stay informed about industry trends, best practices, and innovations in training and development, incorporating relevant insights into training programs and initiatives, and providing guidance to store teams on how to leverage these insights to enhance their capability to execute tasks effectively.

  • Conduct regular assessments and evaluations of training effectiveness, soliciting feedback from associates and stakeholders to inform continuous improvement efforts aimed at enhancing the capability of store teams to execute tasks with excellence.
