The new faculty member will be expected to actively participate in the veterinary and graduate teaching programs, provide clinical radiology services in the NC State Veterinary Hospital, contribute to the knowledge base of the professional discipline through collaborative research with other clinical specialists or basic scientists, and provide teleradiology consultations to referring veterinarians and others.The Radiology faculty is committed to making this position as flexible as possible to fit the desires of the successful applicant. Clinical service can be tailored to suit the interests of the faculty member. Excellent opportunities exist for independent or collaborative investigational activities and for innovations in teaching. Strong ties exist between the College and area medical schools. The Comparative Medicine Institute (CMI) located on the NC State Veterinary Hospital campus provides excellent opportunities for participation in collaborative and translational research projects.
