Software Developer Overview

10X Recruiting Partners is representing our client, one of Fortune Magazine’s “100 Best Companies to Work For,” in finding a Mid-Level Software Developer to join the corporate team in their Raleigh, NC office. The ideal candidate will have a strong drive for results and a desire to build their career with them.

This is an in-office position with a compensation range from $90,000-$105,000 plus bonus and exceptional benefits. Applicants must be legally authorized to work in the U.S. without employer sponsorship. We do not typically sponsor H1-B or any other work visa petitions.

Responsibilities

• Participate as a member of a project team on a variety of development projects
• Work with team members and business partners to determine project requirements and enhancements based on business and user needs
• Develop applications and creative solutions based on project requirements
• Assign tasks to junior developers and provide technical guidance and oversight
• Create requirements, user stories, and work items consistent with business partners’ needs
• Provide quality assurance/quality control and participate in code reviews
• Apply bug fixes and enhancements to existing solutions
• Implement and support applications post deployment
• Quickly evaluate bugs, and apply hot fixes to resolve issues
• Research new and innovative development technologies

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Software Engineering, Information Technology/Systems, Computer Science, or related field
• 4 years of related work experience or internship(s), preferred
• Self-starter who works well with minimal supervision
• Excellent communication and customer service skills
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

Technical Experience

• Full stack web development experience building applications with Angular or Blazor, and .NET Web APIs
• Common software design patterns (MVC)
• Relational database (Microsoft SQL preferred)
• Azure Cloud application development
• Responsive website design using Bootstrap
• Experience with Telerik components and libraries is a plus
• Experience with customizing engineering design software (AutoCAD) is a plus
• NoSQL database experience is a plus

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $90,000.00 - $105,000.00 per year
