Together, we’ll continue to create and deliver content that reflects the current and ever-changing face of the world.Job DescriptionThe Rockefeller Center Operations (RCO) team is responsible for managing Studio Operations in 30 Rock, Facilities Operations in NBCUniversal’s NYC and Englewood Cliffs offices and the Guest Experience with respect to The Tour at NBC Studios, The Shop at NBC Studios and Show Audience Operations. Serving both internal and external clients, there are many communications and marketing needs, currently spread across various teams within Rock Center Ops. This new position of Creative Director will be tasked with centralizing and leading these important efforts, enhancing what currently exists and designing new and exciting ideas. The Creative Director will report directly to the EVP of Rockefeller Center Operations, and will manage a staff Communications Designer and contractor, both of which are already filled. What You’ll Do: As Creative Director, you will bring a mix of marketing expertise and business acumen into the role. You are an experienced manager of people, who can inspire others while taking creative output to a new level. You have a natural eye for design and will be a generator of dynamic ideas that connect with all types of audiences. Spearhead and manage content strategy for both small and large projects related to RCO, harnessing brand design, copy, art, and digital technology Partner with NBCU Corporate Creative on guest-facing marketing and communications External and In-store Marketing creative for The Shop at NBC Studios and the Tour at NBC Studios Collaborate with the NBCU Corporate Creative team to identify direction and clear vision for Creative, consistent with and adhering to company branding guidelines Oversee execution of content for Shop and Tour in Content Management System Manage updates and quality control of all displays and signage Own creative content for the Tour at NBC Studios Lead additional creative development, as needed including: Exhibits and Experiences Website Agency Advertising Management of assets used in creative (historic & current) Collaborate with Tishman Speyer and ZO on Rock Center-based marketing initiatives Lead creative support for NYC/Englewood Cliffs NBCU employee-facing RCO communications Front Desk intranet site In commissary messaging and marketing Fitness Center messaging and marketing Own RCO managed social feeds, in close partnership with the RCO Guest Experience Team and Hospitality Team: @experiencenbcstudios @nbcu_frontdesk Lead the creative strategy and execution on all RCO-facing communications, including newsletters, town halls and messaging around initiatives such as community service events, lunch-and-learns, and Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion efforts. Act as creative lead on RCO presentation materials, such as operating review presentations, budget presentations and other key internal presentations Establish yourself and execute as the RCO Liaison for cross company initiatives, including the NBCU Marketing Council Participate in NBCU Marketing Council Interact with Corporate Communications in editorial meetings and planning QualificationsLet’s Talk About You… You have experience in creating marketing/advertising campaigns — from developing the vision and messaging platform to overseeing production on time and within budget You have experience in creating integrated content across all marketing channels: digital, social media, paid media, mobile, offline, and print You possess a proven ability to develop successful concepts You bring a strong creative vision, with an eye on business objectives You have experience in project management, with a focus on creative direction You exhibit strong written communication skills You are proficient with Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator, and After Effects) You have a strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office (Powerpoint, Excel, Word, Outlook, Teams, One Drive, and Sharepoint) What You Must Have: Minimum 10 years of relevant experience, with 7 or more years as a creative director in an agency or corporate setting Minimum 5 years of managerial experience Additional Information:Required On-Site: This position is required to be performed full-time from an NBCUniversal-designated worksite.This position is eligible for company sponsored benefits, including medical, dental and vision insurance, 401(k), paid leave, tuition reimbursement, and a variety of other discounts and perks.
