Job Details

Overview

To coordinate and conduct complex system analyses feasibility studies and implementation studies of potential computer applications to determine the advisability and profitability of adapting complex electronic data processing techniques to Navy Federal functional areas under minimal supervision. To analyze business needs to develop and implement solutions that leverage systems and processes with a considerable degree if latitude. Works with the business to understand their needs, related to information technology and enhance business process by promoting new functionality. Using advanced knowledge of the organization's technology infrastructure and specific software applications assist the business to implement strategic vision through technology. Considered a stakeholder/contributor on complex systems projects and project teams. To lead full lifecycle project implementation. To exercise advanced technical knowledge of all phases of applications systems analysis. To Provide effective communications to Project Team, Business Units, Back Office Teams and leadership, as well as RMs/MSRs.

Responsibilities

Work on complex issues where analysis of situations or data requires an in-depth evaluation of variable factors.
Consult with senior leadership and several business units on complex operational issues.
Continuously demonstrate and apply exceptional core skills
and perform independently to execute routine tasks and new assignments
Works with the business to understand their needs, related to information technology and enhance business process by promoting new functionality or automation.
Establishes and assures adherence to schedules and work plans
Manages multiple projects that range from low to moderate complexity
Works with project team and other BOD analysts to develop business cases, user stories, journey maps, process maps & data maps (collaborates across teams)
Uses working knowledge of the Branch Operations technology infrastructure and specific software applications to assist the business to implement strategic vision through technology.
Leads/Manages projects that are highly complex and/or have major impact across BOD or NFCU
Successfully coordinates, participates and/or leads projects end-to-end ensuring collaboration with all stakeholders
Prepares and presents Executive-level presentations and proposals independently
Lead and coordinate activities necessary to complete large scale projects, requiring a wide variety of technical skills
Lead Proof of Concept (POC)
Using advanced knowledge of the enterprises' technology infrastructure and specific software applications, assists the business to implement a strategic vision through technology
Root Cause Analysis
Quantitative & Qualitative data collection & analysis (tell a story)
Recommends solution options (short-term and long-term ) with assistance
Knows and understands functionality of Pega, Encore and other BOD technology and platforms
Estimate/determine impacts and baseline
Advanced quantitative and qualitative data collection & analysis
Recommends solution options (short-term and long-term ) independently
Manage/Facilitate with minimal assistance from mentor/coach or manager:
Project Kick-Off
Requirement gathering/user story sessions
Sprint/Release review meetings
Status review meetings
Project planning sessions
Daily Stand-up (when applicable)
Sponsor review meetings
Lessons-learned meetings (post-launch)
Qualifications

Bachelor's Degree in a related field, or the equivalent combination of training, education and experience
Significant experience in problem resolution including determining root cause, scope and scale of issues
Significant experience in the application of statistical methods, mathematical techniques, forecasting, cost-benefit analysis and related analytical tools
Significant experience that demonstrates the ability to research, compile, and document data, business processes, and workflow.
Significant experience in market/consumer research, project management, and analysis in support of strategic planning initiatives
Significant experience in leading collaborative work teams
Significant experience in managing multiple priorities independently and/or in a team environment to achieve goals
Experience in leading large projects/initiatives which have business risk and impact
Advanced knowledge of data querying, reporting, forecasting, analysis and operations research, including statistical methods and modeling
Experience in leading, guiding and coaching professional staff
Familiarity with Navy Federal products, services, programs, policies and procedures
Excellent research, analytical, and problem solving skills
Excellent organizational, planning and time management skills
Excellent skill following, interpreting and applying relevant data/instructions to guidelines, procedures, practices and regulations
Intermediate skill interpreting and synthesizing large amounts of information
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Excellent word processing and spreadsheet software skills
Excellent database and presentation software skills
Excellent skill identifying and analyzing business requirements and recommending solutions
