Position : Medical Assistant

Job Description :

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Medical Assistant to join our healthcare team. The Medical Assistant will work under the supervision of healthcare professionals to provide clinical and administrative support in a medical setting.

The ideal candidate will have a passion for patient care and excellent communication skills.

Responsibilities :

• Assist healthcare providers with patient examinations and procedures.
• Obtain and record patient medical history, vital signs, and other relevant information.
• Prepare and maintain examination and treatment rooms for patient visits.
• Perform basic laboratory tests, such as phlebotomy and specimen collection.
• Administer medications and injections as directed by healthcare providers.
• Assist with patient education and counseling on healthcare issues and treatments.
• Schedule patient appointments and coordinate referrals to specialists as needed.
• Perform administrative tasks, such as answering phones, filing medical records, and processing insurance claims.

Qualifications :

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Completion of a medical assistant training program or equivalent experience.
• Certification as a Medical Assistant (CMA) or Registered Medical Assistant (RMA) preferred.
• Basic understanding of medical terminology and procedures.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to multitask and work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
• Compassionate attitude and commitment to patient care.
