- Carry-out various projects related to Windows and VMware Infrastructure, including shared storage
- Carry-out various projects related to Citrix NetScaler, including load-balancing, SSL, and authentication
- Provide excellent written and verbal communication with customers, other Lockstep engineers, and vendors.
- Maintain relationships and cultivate new opportunities with customers
- Work with Lockstep’s Operations Service Center to resolve Managed Services issues that have been escalated to the Professional Services team.
- Expert knowledge of Microsoft PowerShell Scripting, desired
- Strong background in Windows Server and Desktop Administration
- Ability to quickly gain expertise in new technologies to fulfill customer requirements and develop creative solutions
- At least 1 associate or expert-level certification from strategic vendors such as Microsoft and VMware (i.e. VMware VCP or higher, or Microsoft Solutions Architect Expert)
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Detail and fact-oriented; results-focused
- Self-motivated with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Expertise in core infrastructure services including:
- TCP/IP
- iSCSI
- Active Directory Domain Services
- DHCP
- DNS
- Virtualization platforms such as VMware vSphere

- Experience with the following skills:
- Design, implementation, and upgrade of VMware vSphere
- Implementation of iSCSI storage in virtualized infrastructure
- Design, implementation, and upgrade of VM-based backup architectures such as Veeam or Cohesity
- Design, implementation, and upgrade of Active Directory Domain Services
- Migration and management of workloads to and from cloud services
- Familiarity with and understanding of interactions between various enterprise Linux operating systems
- Experience designing and supporting failover clusters
- Experience with advanced Windows Server roles and functions, such as Active Directory Recovery, certificate authorities, IIS, etc.
- Experience reviewing and remediating security vulnerabilities
