General Information Job Title Payroll & Benefits Lead No. Positions 1 Location San Antonio Department Human Capital Reports to: Financial Operations Manager Main Purpose NatureSweet associates’ compensation is aligned to the Company’s performance and individual results. By paying associates correctly, and ensuring adequate procedures are in place to achieve compliance with all U.S. federal, state and local payer regulations as they relate to payroll and benefits, the benefits administrator helps maintain a positive culture and aligns with our commitment to being a Best Company to Work For. Position Requirements Education Human Capital, Payroll or related field preferred Degree Bachelor’s Degree Preferred Experience 3 Years - Payroll Processing Experience within a Payroll Human Capital Management System (HCM) and Knowledge of HC Operations and Administration Knowledge of State and Federal Regulations (multi-state preferred) 3 Years - Experience with administration and management of Benefit Programs including but not limited to, leave management and enrollments 3 Years – Experience managing Audit Requests to include Annual External Financial Audit and 401K Audit Requests Experience with annual reporting of W-2 and ACA Reporting Compliance Language English Required Spanish – strong knowledge preferred Key Job Accountabilities (3-5) 1. Ensure associates are paid correctly with no errors resulting in payroll and 401K audits free of exceptions for US Payroll 2. Ensure the accurate enrollment and termination of associate benefits 3. Ceridian Human Capital Management system administrator and expert Additional Accountabilities or Specific Functions (5-8) Order does not imply level of importance to successful job performance Specific Functions – Activities Periodicity (Weekly, Monthly, Always) Principal Indicators Process weekly and biweekly US Payroll (San Antonio, Willcox) and any other payroll that may need to be ran according to business needs. Weekly/Biweekly 95% Accuracy Timely completion of end of year activities related to the processing of W-2’s and ACA reporting. Annually 100% Accuracy Participation in and completion of annual audits as they relate to company financial information and 401k. Annually 100% Completion Administer day to day activities on payroll, benefits, 401k retirement plan as they relate to new hires, terminations, and operational changes (promotions, manager changes). Ongoing auditing to ensure accuracy of information Weekly 90% Audits Manage the completion and approval of monthly invoicing for all benefits providers. Monthly 100% Completion Complete all payroll reporting requests in a timely manner. As needed 100% Completion Resolve Client/System Technical Issues in Ceridian HCM Always 0-2 Week Open Tickets Act as a key liaison for employee questions.
