Native American Connections is Hiring a Project Manager - The Lodge Near Phoenix, AZ
POSITION SUMMARY:
The position of the Project Manager serves as the property’s first line supervisor. They provide the necessary leadership to the guests and staff of the property through initial move in orientation of program guidelines and case management services. The ideal candidate has a strong understanding of homeless services in Maricopa County, providing case management services, and experience supervising staff in a social service setting.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Maintain accurate, timely data entry into HMIS and ensure data quality of the project at all times.
- A full understanding of NAC’s philosophy of housing and resident wellness
- Maintain daily shift report by documenting all guest interactions and significant happenings on the property and respond to follow-ups as needed.
- Serve as property’s point of contact for outside service providers, NAC staff, property owners, and County representative.
- Receive, review, and manage all incoming referrals. This requires communicating with referral sources on status of bed availability and coordinating intake, as well as collaborating with property staff for room readiness.
- Ensure guest concerns are heard, addressed, and followed up.
- Lead weekly staffing meetings to update all resident’s progress.
- Responsible for creating and maintaining staff schedule. Responsible for approving time off requests.
- Responsible for completing reports and deliverables in a timely manner, including funder reports, that requires the collecting and analyzing of data.
- Carries out all supervisory duties in accordance with company policy and applicable laws including the interviewing, onboarding, disciplining, performance evaluations/feedback, and termination.
- Responsible for maintaining inventory and submitting orders for program supplies
- Other duties as assigned
EDUCATIONAL/WORK EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENT:
- Bachelor’s degree or 3 years’ experience in service delivery with increased responsibility OR any combination of related education, professional training or work experience which demonstrates the ability to successfully perform duties
- 1 year supervisory experience preferred
WORK EXPERIENCE/SKILLS REQUIREMENT:
- Knowledge of Permanent Supportive Housing and Housing First model
- Knowledge of the economic, educational and social problems of Native Americans and referral services. Experience in working with the Native American population preferred
- Must be able to work well with others in a team approach
- Excellent communication skills – written and oral
- Ability to multi-task with a high energy level
- MS Office proficiency
- Strong interpersonal skills with an ability to work effectively with a wide range of people, teams, managers, supervisors, outside service providers, and vendors
- Ability to create and maintain a safe and effective environment for our residents and staff
- Excellent customer service skills
