We’re currently seeking a Nurse Practitioner to join our amazing team.

Details of the Opening:

• Anticipated start date: ASAP
• Schedule: Full Time, Monday- Friday
• Salary: $125,000/year

Scope and Duties:

• Provides Family Practice and interventional Family Practice consultative services for: assessment, diagnostic work-up and clinic intervention, including comprehensive patient assessment, health history, physical examination, and patient education to Veterans in the Primary Care team setting
• Outpatient include both scheduled and unscheduled Veterans
• Order and evaluate diagnostic tests as appropriate, recommend treatment and/or referral
• Record/document health appraisal information, clinical assessments, treatment decision, plan of care, ongoing management and therapeutic outcomes, order medications, diagnostic test and referral consultations where needed for every patient encounter
• Recording will be accomplished using the electronic comprehensive patient record system (CPRS) and will be completed on the day of the encounter

What You’ll Need to Qualify for this Role:

• Unencumbered license in a State, Territory, or Commonwealth of the US or the District of Columbia
• ANCC Certification with a minimum of 5 years of experience within the last five years
• Must be currently certified in VHA-approved Basic Life Support (BLS) or equivalency and Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) Certifications from the American Heart Association
