Overview:
We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Nurse Practitioner to join our healthcare team. As a Nurse Practitioner, you will provide comprehensive care to patients, including assessment, diagnosis, and treatment. You will work collaboratively with physicians and other healthcare professionals to ensure the highest quality of care for our patients.

Responsibilities:
- Conduct thorough patient assessments, including medical history, physical examination, and review of symptoms
- Order and interpret diagnostic tests, such as laboratory work and imaging studies
- Develop and implement treatment plans based on patient needs and in accordance with established standards of care
- Prescribe medications and other treatments as necessary
- Provide patient education on disease prevention, management, and treatment options
- Perform procedures within the scope of practice, such as wound care, suturing, and administering injections
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to coordinate patient care and facilitate discharge planning
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date medical documentation in electronic health records

Requirements:
- Valid Nurse Practitioner license in NC
- Master's degree in Nursing from an accredited program
- Certification as a Nurse Practitioner in the appropriate specialty area (e.g., Family Practice, Adult-Gerontology)
- Minimum of 3 years of experience as a Nurse Practitioner in an acute care setting
- Proficient in conducting patient assessments and developing treatment plans
- Knowledge of psychopharmacology and acute pain management
- Strong understanding of physiology and medical conditions across the lifespan
- Experience with tube feeding and infant care is preferred
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to effectively educate patients and collaborate with healthcare professionals
