The Opportunity:

We are seeking a strategic and experienced Vice President to join our Corporate Reputation practice. This team is a global leader in reputation insights, helping companies understand, enhance, and protect their reputations across the globe. We provide clients with insights from custom, secondary, and digital research along with consultative expertise for earning and protecting a strong, resilient corporate reputation.In this role, you will oversee a range of team members and initiatives across the full primary research project lifecycle from proposal to report delivery. You will bring your intellectual curiosity, entrepreneurial mindset, and storytelling ability to lead research initiatives that help answer important strategic questions for our Reputation clients.

Your Impact:
  • Lead execution on all phases of qualitative and quantitative research projects related to reputation, including research design, data analysis, and storytelling.
  • Develop a strong understanding of each clients business and industry issues, advising on how to manage research insights programs to inform communications and strategies aligned to reputation objectives.
  • Advise our clients and their communications partners on industry-leading corporate reputation research programs that shape and inform integrated initiatives, policies, and communications campaigns.
  • Identify opportunities and contribute to initiatives to grow the Corporate Reputation practice, including active participation in new business pitches, and proposal development.
  • Provide overall account development and management both by building strong relationships and identifying reputation-building opportunities for new and existing clients.
  • Support and develop NRGs thought leadership and marketing initiatives focused on Corporate Reputation, contributing to the development of the company's position in the market.
  • Help manage, develop and train the analysts, managers and directors on the Corporate Reputation team.
  • Translate research data into clear, actionable insights and recommendations through visual, creative, and story-driven reports.
  • Problem solve and troubleshoot challenges presented internally, or with clients, developing multiple paths forward to achieve resolution.
Who We're Looking For:
  • Experience Wed love for you to have 8 years experience working in consumer research, or in an analyst/strategy role (ideally some combination thereof, but supplier side experience is a must). Ideally, youll have had a focus on corporate reputation as part of your past roles.
  • Your degree(s) Ideally looking for a B.A./B.S. degree in areas such as Communications, Public Relations, Marketing, Market Research, or a related field. Additional degrees are welcome!
  • Passion An enthusiasm for reputation management, data-driven approaches, and strategic thinking. You live and breathe all things related to building and maintaining a positive reputation.
  • Executive presence - Experience in providing well-informed strategic counsel for complex client reputation issues or crisis management, at times under tight time pressure.
  • Strong communicator You communicate clearly, concisely, and proactively to set expectations with colleagues and clients.
  • Research practitioner Understanding of and experience with a range of complex qualitative and quantitative research methodologies. Experience with custom ad hoc projects is key.
  • Entrepreneurial spirit - Not afraid to challenge the status quo and navigate with some ambiguity. Leverage your creativity to deliver new approaches and fresh thinking.
  • Leadership You have a well-developed reputation acumen and can lead and develop a team. You have no problem helping with decision-making related to team management and resourcing.
  • Storytelling Strong writing skills where you can craft a story around data insights and clearly communicate key points in a succinct manner. Your verbal communication skills are excellent as well.
  • Data analysis techniques Experience with data analysis techniques in the context of reputation management, including statistical significance testing, correlation analysis, multivariate analysis techniques (such as cluster/segmentation analysis), and conjoint and discrete choice analysis.
  • Self-starter Internally motivated who continuously strives to get things done well, regardless of challenges encountered in the realm of reputation management.
  • Expert multitasker Successfully manages time and multiple competing priorities to ensure deadlines are always met.
  • Hawk-eyed attention to detail Errors dont get past you and you ensure nothing slips through the cracks when it comes to quality control and reporting.
  • Connects with people Team player who is able to work collaboratively and harmoniously within a team and across teams. You will roll up your sleeves to help get the job done and no task is beneath you.

Compensation:

To comply with equal pay and salary transparency laws in various locations, we believe the target range of base compensation in all locations within the United States for this role is $150,000-$180,000. Actual compensation is influenced by a wide array of factors including but not limited to skill set, level of experience, and location.
