MAINTENANCE PLANNERPerforms a variety of maintenance planning and scheduling tasks. Maintains scheduling tools and progress measurement systems. Prepares reports for management. Tracks and monitors cost and identifies variance to the budgeted cost plan. Issues work orders and assists in invoice reviews and payment approvals. Summarized monthly progress information and manpower requirements. May participate in meetings with Operations and Maintenance crew to review daily/weekly work schedules and backlogs. May identify safety, communication and permitting requirements for all planned tasks. Prepares area coordination schedules as required. Duties and Responsibilities:Responsible for initial screening of work orders to identify scope and required level of planning.Conduct review of corrective work orders to identify and document job requirements.Evaluate and identify specific Safety Hazards associated with planned work and ensure adherence to safety requirements and procedures.Estimate required labor hours for corrective work orders, total work order duration, and skills required to perform the task.Plan jobs with appropriate level of detail for the given skilled labor.Gather necessary engineering and technical documents, specifications, and drawings.Determines and/or arranges for parts required to perform the work.Plan parts for corrective work orders to skilled labor in conjunction with corrective work schedule.Coordinate priorities set by management team, place specific emphasis on obtaining input from operations and facility groups as required.Ensure work orders and maintenance detail is accurately accounted for upon completion of work.Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:Strong organizational skills.Possess the required computer skills.Able to read and interpret vendor manuals and drawings.Strong communication skills and able to communicate clearly and effectively with personnel, contractors, vendors, suppliers, and management.Committed to Safety and Teamwork.Able to understand blueprints and/or schematic diagrams.Ability to organize and plant tasks.Demonstrated ability to be proactive in problem solving and lead the resolution of problems.Education and ExperienceMinimum of 10 years work experience in skilled trades or equivalent technical background in a manufacturing maintenance environment.High school diploma or equivalent, associate degree in maintenance related field preferred.Strong Electrical/Mechanical aptitude. Taber Extrusions LLC. is an Equal Opportunity Employer EEO-M/F/D/V and encourages Diverse Candidates to Apply
