Job Summary
Operates Solution Heat Treat and Tailstock by performing the following tasks:
Duties and Responsibilities:

• Processes all the paperwork at the solution heat treat and stretcher.
• Ensures solution heat treat temperature and proper percent on stretching parts is maintained.
• Completes all paperwork and reports.
• Maintains quencher by proper nozzle settings, run out speed, die history review and setting up new dies, daily inspection, running water cooling circuit.
• Leads all helpers in this area
• Checks and refills oil levels and reports leaks to the supervisor.
• Operates overhead crane.
• Maintains a professional communication with supervisors and co-workers to insure efficient and safety work operations.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
• Follows safe work procedures.

Education and Experience:

• Up to one month related experience or training. On the job training for this position.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

• Read and understand job sheets, work instructions and route tags.
• Utilize applicable measuring equipment, work instructions and control plans.
• Demonstrate ability to set up and operate equipment without supervision.
• Demonstrate ability to run equipment without breakdown and maintain productivity based on historical run times.
• Demonstrate ability to produce defect-free parts.
• Demonstrate ability to complete all applicable paperwork associated with this job title.
• Individual is familiar with lockout/tagout and other safety related issues associated with this job title.
• Individual is familiar with the following procedures:
