We are professional, agile, engaging and our goal is to grow our brand and business to be the largest provider of traffic safety supply items in North America and potentially beyond. Our business focuses on traffic sign manufacturing and distribution of traffic safety products. We are offering an exciting and unlimited growth opportunity to an individual to manage our dynamic and growing sales team. This team presently consists of one outside and four inside account executives, four inside sales support personnel and one inside technical sales representative, with hopes to grow and expand our reach to cover a larger territory. This chance is a rare one to oversee and to build an active, talented, and friendly group of people while being pioneering and bringing creative ideas to the table.

National Highway Products, Inc. is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Sales Manager to join our team. As a Sales Manager, you will be responsible for driving sales growth and managing a team of sales professionals. This is a key leadership role that requires strong sales skills, excellent communication abilities, and a proven track record of success in meeting and exceeding sales targets.
Duties:
- Develop and implement strategic sales plans to achieve company goals and objectives
- Lead and manage a team of sales representatives, providing guidance, coaching, and support to ensure their success
- Identify new business opportunities and target markets to expand the customer base
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key customers, understanding their needs and providing solutions to meet their requirements
- Conduct market research and analysis to identify trends, competitive landscape, and customer preferences
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including marketing, product development, and operations to align sales strategies with overall business objectives
- Prepare sales forecasts, budgets, and reports for management review
Qualifications:
- Proven experience in outside sales or technical sales roles
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to build rapport and maintain long-term relationships
- Excellent analytical skills to assess market trends, identify opportunities, and make data-driven decisions
- Exceptional negotiation and persuasion abilities to close deals effectively
- Knowledge of marketing principles and strategies to develop effective sales campaigns
- Experience managing a team of sales professionals is preferred
