Nashua School District is Hiring a Human Resources Intern Near Nashua, NH
COORDINATES WITH: Human Resources Staff
WORK YEAR: Summer 2024 (JUNE - AUGUST)
Principal Duties
- Assist with onboarding new employee such as conducting orientations and creating new hire packets.
- Assist with data entry of new applicants (I9 processing, NHRS enrollments).
- Assist in filing/tracking all of the new hires and their paperwork.
- Assist with maintaining employee personnel folders.
- Assist with running new hire background checks.
- Assist with job postings.
- Assist in answering employee inquires regarding name and address changes.
- Assist with retirement paperwork and processing.
- Performs other related duties assigned by the Director or Manager of Human Resources
- High School Diploma/GED/Equivalent
- Maintain Confidentiality
- Microsoft Office/Outlook/Word/Excel experience
- Ability to work in a team environment
- Strong Interpersonal and Communication Skills
