Job Description:
We are seeking a skilled Mechanical Assembler to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for assembling mechanical components and systems according to engineering specifications and blueprints. The Mechanical Assembler will work with a team of engineers and technicians to ensure that all products are assembled to the highest quality standards.
Responsibilities:
- Read and interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, and schematics
- Assemble mechanical components and systems according to specifications
- Use hand and power tools to assemble parts
- Perform quality checks on completed assemblies
- Identify and report any issues or defects in the assembly process
- Collaborate with engineers and technicians to improve assembly processes
- Maintain a clean and organized work area
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- 2 years of experience in mechanical assembly
- Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, and schematics
- Experience using hand and power tools
- Strong attention to detail
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Excellent communication skills
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
