Naprotek is Hiring a Shipping Delivery Driver Near San Jose, CA
Job purpose:
Safe and prompt delivery of a variety of electronic equipment and assemblies to our customers. Represent Naprotek, Inc. in a professional manner increasing customer satisfaction. Assist other departments as necessary. Additional duties as assigned by manager.
Duties and responsibilities:
Safe and prompt delivery of a variety of electronic equipment and assemblies to our customers. Represent Naprotek, Inc. in a professional manner increasing customer satisfaction. Assist other departments as necessary. Additional duties as assigned by manager.
Duties and responsibilities:
- Deliver a variety of sensitive electronic materials to different addresses and using different routes
- Follow time schedule to ensure product is delivered in a timely manner and per schedule
- Prepare, package, load, and unload a delivery vehicle, multiple times per day
- Complete mileage logs and reports as required
- Follow DOT regulations and safety standards
- Perform data entry to support Shipping transactions to customers
- Process shipments to common carriers as required
Qualifications:
- Proficient in the English language in both written and verbal communication.
- 2 years’ work experience as a Delivery Driver
- Valid California Class C driver’s license
- Good driving record with no traffic violations
- Ability to effectively operate hand-trucks
- Excellent organizational and time management skills
- High school diploma or equivalent General Education Diploma (GED)
- Able to lift 20 lbs. multiple times for packaging, load, and unload duties
- Computer skills (Excel, Word, Database, Data Entry)
