Job Summary

As a Primary Care Family Nurse Practitioner, you will play a vital part in our clinics by providing disease management, health promotion, preventive care, and patient education across diverse medical conditions and age groups. Your expertise and comprehensive care approach will contribute significantly to the overall success of our medical practice, as you provide accessible and high-quality primary healthcare services to our patients, fostering long-term patient-provider relationships and improving health outcomes.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• You will perform patient examinations or interviews, carefully assessing their health conditions and identifying any potential issues.
• To ensure accurate diagnoses, you will administer, order, review, and interpret diagnostic tests, meticulously looking for any deviations from normal ranges.
• Prescribing medications, administering treatments, and performing various procedures such as injections, immunizations, suturing, and wound care will be part of your responsibilities.
• In routine consultations, your focus will be on health maintenance and preventive care, providing guidance to patients for optimal well-being.
• You will also play a vital role in offering advice on health promotion and disease prevention strategies, including recommendations for healthy lifestyle habits.
• Maintaining comprehensive patient records in electronic medical records, with proper scribe oversight, and collaborating closely with healthcare professionals will contribute to delivering comprehensive care.

Skills and Qualifications:

• Master’s degree in Family Nurse Practice
• National Board Certification as a Family Nurse Practitioner through ANCC or AANP, with current Nurse Practitioner registration and certification in New York State.
• Current certifications in BLS, ACLS, PALS, and Infection Control.
• At Least 1 year of FNP experience and using EMR systems.
• Strong understanding of HIPAA Compliance
• Preferably have CDL, Suboxone Certification, and federal DEA license.
• Valid Medication Administration Training (MAT) Certificate
• Preferably had residency in Family Practice, Internal Medicine, Emergency Room, or adequate outpatient and primary care experience.
• Bilingual in Spanish and English is preferred but not required.
• Strong candidates will work well with an interdisciplinary team of clinicians and allied health professionals and carry out the mission of Nao Medical through clarity, thoughtfulness, and respect for all
