Clinical Competence: Our Advanced Practitioners Function in lieu of or alongside a physician, and it is essential for an urgent care Advanced Practitioners to have excellent assessment skills in order to recognize more serious conditions and direct the patient to the emergency room for advanced care when necessary.

Be able to multitask efficiently in a fast-paced environment. You will be managing the flow in the clinic to keep wait times short. Show willingness to take on new tasks and learn new processes, systems and technology.

Kindness and Empathy: Be willing to go the extra mile for your patients. Be willing to listen to your patients and address their concerns with respect and empathy. You will be providing patient education to patients and their families to ensure better outcomes.

Solid work ethic: Our patients and teammates are depending on us to deliver on time. That means being available for our patients, calling them back as quickly as possible and showing up on time. This also means being trustworthy and honest.

Diligence: In managing your day, in working with your patients in documenting your chart, you name it. You'll be expected to manage your day as though it was your own business. Expect to be busy!

Flexibility: Due to coverage needs or last-minute schedule changes, you may be moved to another site or asked to travel to another location.

Licenses and Certifications: DEA, ACLS, BLS, PALS, Infection Control, NYS Registration and State License, Degree and Board Certification.
