Performs a variety of food service tasks to ensure deliverance of meals/food for patients, cafeteria and special meetings throughout the health system. He/she adheres to the mission of Myrtue Medical Center in all aspects of job performance.
One year of food service experience is desirable, but not required. Must have a general knowledge of cooking and using kitchen machines and equipment. Completion of high school or equivalent preferred.
Prepares, serves, stocks and delivers salads, desserts, and nourishments to patients in accordance to their prescribed diet and for cafeteria; assembles patient trays; serves customers; runs cash register; maintains salad bar throughout cafeteria meal service; washes dishes; cleans; delivers trays to patients; maintains records; other general duties as assigned.
