Requirements:
- Minimum 1 year of Child Care center experience.
- Clear Criminal Background check.
- 90-hour childcare certification.
- 45-hour infant/toddler certification.
- Completion of a 9-hour communication certificate.
- Reliable transportation.
Compensation: *SIGN ON BONUS STIPULATION BELOW*
Pay is based on qualifications and position:
Qualifications for Aides:
- Previous childcare or teaching experience.
- Passion for working with children.
- Ability to build rapport with children.
- Positive and patient demeanor.
- Excellent communication skills.
- At least 17 years of age.
- Willingness to take continuing education courses mandated by MSDE.
Qualifications for Teachers:
- Minimum 1 year of previous childcare or teaching experience.
- High School Diploma or GED.
- Completed or in-progress certifications: 90-hour Preschool Certificate, 9-hour Communication Course, ADA, CPR/1st Aid.
- Additional certifications required for specific roles.
Education:
- High school diploma or equivalent (Required).
- Associate Degree, CDA, or Bachelor's Degree.
SIGN-ON BONUS DETAILS:
Exciting news! My Village is offering a sign-on bonus of $300 for Teachers and $200 for Aides, payable in two installments. The first $150 ($100 for Aides) will be issued at the 30-day mark and the second $150 ($100 for Aides) at the 60-day mark. To qualify, applicants must have a clean record during the probationary period and express the intent to stay with the team.
