Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Teacher's Aide to join our team. As a Teacher's Aide, you will play a vital role in supporting the lead teacher in creating a positive and engaging learning environment for students. This is an excellent opportunity for individuals passionate about childhood development and education.
Responsibilities:
- Assist the lead teacher in implementing age-appropriate lesson plans and activities
- Provide support to students with their academic and social development
- Supervise students during classroom activities, ensuring their safety and well-being
- Assist with classroom management, including maintaining discipline and promoting positive behavior
- Help prepare materials and resources for lessons
- Provide one-on-one assistance to students who require additional support
- Collaborate with the lead teacher to assess student progress and provide feedback to parents/guardians
- Assist with maintaining a clean and organized classroom environment
Skills:
- Strong understanding of childhood development principles
- Previous experience in childcare, infant care, preschool, nannying, or babysitting is highly desirable
- Ability to effectively manage a classroom of students
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- Patience, empathy, and the ability to connect with children
- Experience working with diverse student populations is a plus
- Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team
