MY SALON Suite is Hiring a Facility Manager Near Minneapolis, MN
Northland Management Group owns and operates 4 local MY SALON Suite locations. MSS is a luxury salon suite concept that provides space for the industry’s top salon professionals to operate their businesses from. Our management style is prompt, thorough and professional, as are our standards for handling maintenance items. The Members’ businesses are their livelihood, so we want to ensure they do not experience any interruption in their day-to-day due to maintenance concerns.
Locations: Apple Valley, Bloomington, Chanhassen, Plymouth, Rogers (coming Spring 2024), Blaine (coming Fall 2024)
Duties and Responsibilities
- Basic electrical, plumbing, carpentry, painting skills.
- Attention to detail.
- Ability to problem solve.
- Punctuality with scheduled tasks.
- Prompt and thorough communication with Property Manager and Members.
- Positive and friendly attitude with Members.
- Ability to coordinate and communicate efficiently with other technicians i.e. HVAC, plumbers, electricians.
- Availability to respond to emergency after-hour calls.
Primary Tasks
Effective communication and execution of Member maintenance requests.
Troubleshooting/Problem-solving.
Suite Move-Ins and Turnovers - Install chandeliers, install sconces, patch textured walls, paint, securely install shelving/decor/tvs for Members.
Suite Conversions - Remove cabinetry and transport to storage, cap plumbing, cut and install baseboard.
Other (examples) - Promptly respond to urgent maintenance items, adjust HVAC dampers, fix automatic flush toilets, cut and replace ceiling tiles, add salt to water softener, replace laminate pieces on cabinets, replace carpet tiles, replace faucet cartridges, etc.
Hours
The Members have access to their suites 24/7, so we schedule maintenance around their business hours. This commonly requires early morning, late night, and weekend hours to ensure we do not disturb or interrupt their services.
Rate
$25-28/hr based on experience
This role is full-time with flexible working hours. 40 hours per week.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $25.00 - $28.00 per hour
