Our restaurant group is searching for a Secretary / Human Resources Coordinator to handle administrative operations in Lafayette, Baton Rouge, and New Orleans, Louisiana. A resume is required for consideration.
The Candidate will be tasked with financial and accounting functions of the chain. Must possess excellent communication and multitasking skills, a positive attitude, strong work ethic, and superior organizational skills- as tasks will be plentiful.
Required Skills:
Basic proficiency with Quickbooks.
Onboarding of staff members
Oversee timely and accurate preparation of employee packets and submit to payroll company.
Review accounts payable, aging invoices, and assist with direct payment when required.
Supervise payments to and credits from vendors.
Monitor daily cash deposits and balances.
Monitor daily credit card processor deposits by tracing from processor to bank.
Review and monitor the preparation of the biweekly certified payroll as necessary
Perform special assignments as directed by the CFO and EVP of Finance
Prepare and remit Monthly Sales Taxes.
Financial Reporting:
Timely preparation and review of monthly financial statements in accordance with GAAP
Assist with budget preparation and manage budgets to ensure fiscal health and responsibility
Strategic Planning:
Participate in the on-going strategic planning with CFO.
Assist in the preparation of annual financial budget and update the forecasts on a quarterly basis
Minimum Requirements:
Working knowledge of Office 365 suite
Basic Computer Skill
Aptitude to learn Restaurant Management and Payroll Software currently used by chain.
