- Oversees day-to-day operation.
- Delegates tasks and set deadlines.
- Monitors Patient Service Representative performance and reports on metrics.
- Performs quality checks on individual work performance.
- Provides staff training and coaching as necessary.
- Ensures team members are competent with using current tools, technology, and processes in their daily activities.
- Monitors employee attendance and performance to ensure uninterrupted daily activities.
- Responds to alleged violations of rules, regulations, policies and procedures by evaluating or recommending the appropriate investigative procedures.
- Oversees patients and referral sources communications to ensure timely responses and follow-ups as needed.
- Assists other management leaders in developing and implementing new policies and procedures.
- Collaborates with the Billing Department to ensure smooth transition of patient files and records for clean claim submissions.
- Assists the Sales/Marketing team to maintain contact with major accounts and key referral sources.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
- Proven work experience as a self-starter team leader or manager.
- In-depth knowledge of performance management and metrics.
- Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
- A degree or training in management is preferred.
