Job Summary The Human Resources Generalist supports the daily operations of the Human Resources department. Key responsibilities include employee onboarding, maintaining employee records, managing HR documents, employee relations, and other special projects. Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Be the primary point of contact for Border Tire HR-related questions and assist with day-to-day HR operations.
Responsible for pre-employment processes (background checks, drug tests, offer letters, scheduling onboarding/training, etc), which also includes conducting new hire orientations
Scheduling and assisting with performance reviews and termination processes, which includes sending reminders to managers, answering questions, and providing guidance
Maintains employment files and HRIS system to remain in compliance with legal requirements and established standards by confidentially and accurately entering employee changes to the HRIS system, to include auditing of files and HRIS for data integrity and records retention compliance.
Supports and assists HR peers/team for various projects.
Qualifications
High School Diploma or equivalent required.
Bachelor’s degree (B. A.) in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field preferred.
2-4 years of human resources support experience.
Bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred.
Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.
