Muskego Lakes Country Club Banquet Manager Job Description

Responsibilities:

- Directly assist the Director of Event Services in the preparation and execution of scheduled events and banquets.

- Assist and advise on event set up plans.
- Manage and oversee the set up of the banquet space for various functions as outlined in the event order form. Event types include but are not limited to golf outings, weddings, corporate events, showers and fundraisers.

- Lead the set team with strong direction and an eye for detail.
- Control the appropriate usage of banquet equipment, tools and service equipment while ensuring its correct and sage usage.
- Coordinate with event hosts to ensure event details are in order.
- Hold Pre Event Meetings with event staff as well as prepare Pre Event documents.
- Manage complaints professionally and take corrective actions to ensure highest level of guest satisfaction.
- Assist Director of Events with day to day activities such as scheduling and administrative duties.
- Participate in training, development, coaching and managing directly reporting staff.

Qualifications:

- Looking for a candidate with strong organizational skills and an attention to detail.
- Flexible hours as some events may require split shifts, evening, weekend hours and holiday hours.
- Proficiency in using Microsoft Office Suite
- Proven ability to work effectively with all levels of staff and management
- Preferably 2 years of Banquet, Catering, Convention or Hospitality management
- Extensive front and back of house knowledge

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $36,000.00 - $40,000.00 per year
