Job Title: Artist Relations Management Intern

Job Description:

Musa Marketing, committed to providing employment opportunities and career development for young people of color, is seeking a dedicated and proactive Artist Relations Management Intern. This role offers hands-on experience in artist relations and management, ensuring a smooth and engaging experience for artists participating in events.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement strategies to attract and recruit talented artists and creatives.
• Build and maintain relationships with artists, including painters, sculptors, photographers, musicians, and other creative individuals.
• Serve as the main point of contact for artists, addressing inquiries, providing support, and resolving any issues or concerns.
• Collaborate with the marketing team to develop and execute promotional campaigns and initiatives that spotlight the work of artists.
• Organize and manage artist events, exhibitions, and collaborations to showcase their work and encourage networking opportunities.
• Stay updated on trends and emerging artists in the creative industry to identify potential partnerships or opportunities.
• Negotiate contracts and agreements with artists, ensuring mutually beneficial terms.
• Monitor artist performance and satisfaction, collecting feedback and implementing improvements as needed.
• Assist in the development of marketing materials and content related to artists and their work.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including curators, designers, and event coordinators, to ensure seamless artist experiences.
• Proactively reach out to a minimum of 500 individuals per week, initiating conversations and promoting Musa Marketing's event initiatives and resources.
• Learn to develop content and outreach plans/strategies to effectively market events, ensuring maximum attendance and engagement.
• Build and maintain a contact list of artists and influencers, providing VIP entry invitations to events and ensuring a seamless experience for participants.
• Assist in managing the PR schedule with artists for press runs and oversee artist writers for events.
• Oversee product add-ons and collaborations for recurring events, fostering lasting relationships with artists and influencers

Pay: $5,500.00 - $10,000.00 per month
