Job Description
A leading company specializing in the production of gaskets, molded, and machined plastics is looking for an Inventory Control Specialist to manage and update inventory records efficiently. The ideal candidate possesses exceptional organizational skills and a comprehensive knowledge of inventory management practices. Reporting to the Supply Chain Manager, the new hire will drive operational efficiency by ensuring the highest level of accuracy & organizational effectiveness while maintaining compliance with safety standards.
Salary: $15-18/hr
Location: Tomball, TX 77375
Type of Position: Temp-to-Hire

Responsibilities:

• Perform cycle counts on stock items and raw material monthly.
• Monitor inventory levels to identify items to be reordered or replenished.
• Stock and log all returned materials.
• Examine and inspect stock items for wear or defects, reporting any damage to supervisors.
• Use inventory orders to obtain the appropriate materials from the warehouse, making sure to double check the numbers, sizes, colors, and quantities of merchandise.
• Issue or distribute materials, products, parts, and supplies to coworkers, based on information from incoming requisitions.
• Utilize all raw materials and finished products to reduce waste within the company.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area.
• Document materials, quantities, and trace numbers on the order packet per Eagle's QMS.
• Requisition merchandise from the purchasing department, based on available space, merchandise on hand, customer demand, or advertised specials.
• Assemble shelves and other items in shop as needed.
• Assist the receiving clerk as needed.
• Perform all other duties as assigned.

Requirements:

• High School Diploma or General Education Degree (GED) required
• Forklift Operator Certification required
• Reading skills
• Creativity for use of raw materials
