Morgan Benjamin Search Group is Hiring an Inventory Control Near Houston, TX

Position: Inventory Control Specialist
Pay: $18.00 per hour, temp to perm

Requirements:

  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in quality control or audit
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in cycle counting or inventory control
  • Intermediate Excel skills
  • Experience with Oracle, WMOS, or SAP computer applications
  • Forklift, order picker, and stand-up reach lift experience is a plus

Job Description:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Quality Control and Inventory Specialist to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring the accuracy and quality of our inventory through regular audits and cycle counting. You will also be responsible for maintaining inventory records and coordinating with other departments to ensure smooth operations.

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct regular audits and cycle counting to maintain accurate inventory records
  • Identify and resolve discrepancies in inventory counts
  • Coordinate with other departments to address inventory-related issues
  • Maintain accurate inventory records in our database
  • Assist with the implementation of inventory control procedures
  • Operate forklift, order picker, and stand-up reach lift as needed

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in quality control or audit
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in cycle counting or inventory control
  • Intermediate Excel skills
  • Experience with Oracle, WMOS, or SAP computer applications
  • Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

This is a temp-to-perm position with the opportunity for permanent placement based on performance. If you meet the above qualifications and are looking for a challenging and rewarding opportunity, we encourage you to apply.
