Salary Range: Up to $90K
Target Bonus: 10%
Location: Chicago, IL area (just south of O'Hare Airport)
Job Description---Buyer
· Purchasing/Supply Chain experience with a MRP system in a manufacturing environment
· Strong ERP knowledge and background in supplier management and negotiations
· Manage multiple jobs and competing requirements
· Receive and reviews requisitions requesting goods or services
· Communicate with vendors to obtain product or service information
· Determine method of procurement, such as direct purchase or bid
· Prepares purchase orders or bid requests
· Review bid proposals and negotiates contracts within budgetary limitations and scope of authority
