Job Description
The main function of a Analyst is assisting the buyer with commercial negotiations, governance, implementing standard work, and data management.

Position’s Contributions to Work Group
- Review and potentially optimize suppliers’ quotes based on price, quality, selection, service, support, availability and other relevant factors.
- Gather appropriate quote package data, and review bid proposals.
- Instruct support staff on how to resolve problems related to grief in any part of the commercial workflow.
- Support buyers and Category Managers on negotiations, renegotiations, and administration of contracts with suppliers.
- Evaluate and monitor commodity pricing trends and ensure compliance with contractual obligations and determine need for price changes based on appropriate indexes.

Typical Day

Interaction with team:
- Daily interaction with a global team via phone, Microsoft Teams, email and in person.

Work environment:
- Fast paced, office environment.

Education Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in finance, Supply Chain, Engineering, or a related business field desired or, 3-5 years buying, or supply chain related experience required.

Technical Skills
- Ability to analyze financial reports, price proposals and other technical data.
- Ability to accurately document and record customer/client information.
- Basic mentoring skills necessary to provide support and constructive performance feedback.
- Ability to evaluate suppliers.
- Knowledge of applicable laws and regulations related to purchasing.
- Knowledge of supply chain management.
- Previous experience with computer applications, such as Microsoft Word and Excel.

Soft Skills
- Strong verbal and written communication skills, excellent attention to detail, experience with negotiation and strong interpersonal skills.

Job Type: Contract

Salary: $28.00 - $30.00 per hour

• Supply chain management: 3 years (Required)
• Advanced Excel (VLOOKUPs, Pivot Tables): 3 years (Required)

• Negotiation: 3 years (Required)
