Bookkeeper & Billing Specialist

Position Overview:

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Bookkeeper & Billing Specialist. This role will be responsible for managing all aspects of bookkeeping, including accounts payable and receivable, as well as handling billing operations through our factoring agency, Triumph.

Key Responsibilities:

Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records using accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Xero).

- Process accounts payable and receivable transactions in a timely manner, ensuring accuracy and compliance with company policies.

- Reconcile bank statements and other financial documents to ensure accuracy and identify discrepancies.

- Prepare and submit invoices to clients in accordance with billing schedules and contractual agreements.

- Collaborate with the operations teams to ensure accurate and timely billing of services rendered.

- Communicate with clients regarding billing inquiries, discrepancies, and payment reminders in a professional and courteous manner.

- Work closely with Triumph, our factoring agency, to facilitate the financing of accounts receivable and manage the billing process efficiently.

- Assist with month-end and year-end financial close processes, including preparing financial reports and supporting documentation as needed.

- Support the finance team with ad-hoc projects and tasks as assigned.

**Qualifications:**

- Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or related field preferred.

- Proven experience as a bookkeeper or accounting assistant, with a strong understanding of accounting principles and practices.

- Familiarity with accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Xero) and proficiency in Microsoft Excel.

- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy, with the ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively.

- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to interact professionally with clients and colleagues.

- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.

- Prior experience with factoring agencies, particularly Triumph, is a plus but not required.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $20.00 - $25.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 – 50 per week
