Powered Solutions was founded as an electrical company to our sister company, Multimedia Solutions, which is our low voltage audio/video partner. Powered Solutions provides electrical services/systems and lighting integration for your home and business. We offer a wide range of electrical solutions to fit into any budget and provide custom design services for projects ranging from simple yet sophisticated to extravagant and luxurious. We fully manage and coordinate all aspects of our projects from start to finish; this includes Design, Engineering, and Installation.
We are looking to add an Accounts Receivable clerk to our Farmers Branch office. We would prefer someone with experience in dispatch, customer service and accounts receivable.
Job Summary:
The Accounts Receivable clerk manages all aspects of Powered Solutions Accounts Receivable programs.
Duties/Responsibilities:

• Prepare, posts, verifies and records customer payments and transactions related to accounts receivable.
• Creates invoices according to company practices; submits invoices to customers.
• Maintains and updates customer files within software systems.
• Drafts correspondence for standard past-due accounts and collections, identifies delinquent accounts by reviewing files, and contacts delinquent accountholders to request payment.
• Creates reports regarding the current status of customer accounts, as requested.
• Research customer discrepancies and past-due amounts with the assistance of the Finance Manager and other staff.
• Collaborates with the Finance Manager to reconcile accounts receivable on a periodic basis.
• Assists Finance Manager in reconciling revenue accounts.
• Performs other related duties as assigned.

Qualifications:
The following qualifications are ideal for the Accounts Receivable position with Multimedia Solutions Inc.:

• Minimum 3 years relevant accounts receivable experience with a basic understanding of the AV or construction industry.
• Must possess excellent verbal and written communication skills including strong presentation skills.
• Strong computer skills, knowledge of database software, Microsoft Office, QuickBooks, email and electronic calendar systems with the ability to learn new programs.
• Must have strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks, projects and personnel and be able to adapt and shift priorities.
• Self-sufficient, self-motivated, organized, reliable and punctual. Self-started with the ability to maximize efforts daily, without daily supervision.
• Professional demeanor and good people skills.
