We are looking for a Human Resource Intern who will play a key role in supporting the HR team in various aspects of human resources, with a primary focus on gaining foundational knowledge of HR practices and the employee lifecycle. The HR Intern will be exposed to diverse HR functions including recruiting and onboarding, benefits administration, payroll, and compliance.   • Employee Life Cycle:
    • Assist in the onboarding process for new employees, including paperwork completion and orientation sessions.
    • Support the offboarding process by organizing exit interviews and ensuring the return of company property.
  • Payroll Administration:
    • Work closely with the payroll team to gain hands-on experience in payroll processing.
    • Assist in the verification of time and attendance records.
  • Benefits Administration:
    • Learn the basics of benefits administration, including health insurance, retirement plans, and other employee benefits.
    • Assist in benefits enrollment processes and address basic employee inquiries regarding benefits.
  • Compliance Management:
    • Gain an understanding of HR compliance regulations and assist in ensuring the organization's adherence to relevant laws.
    • Assist in maintaining accurate and up-to-date employee records to support compliance efforts.
  • Confidentiality:
    • Understand the importance of maintaining confidentiality in HR matters.
    • Handle sensitive employee information with discretion and follow established privacy protocols.
  • Documentation and Record Keeping:
    • Assist in organizing and maintaining HR documentation, including personnel files and HR databases.
    • Learn to generate reports and analyze HR data to support decision-making.
  • HR Policies and Procedures:
    • Familiarize oneself with company HR policies and procedures.
    • Assist in communicating HR policies to employees and addressing basic policy-related inquiries.
  • Training and Development:
    • Participate in HR training sessions to build knowledge and skills in various HR functions.
    • Contribute to the development of training materials as needed.
  • Collaboration and Team Support:
    • Collaborate with HR team members on various projects and initiatives.
    • Provide general administrative support to the HR department as needed.
Qualifications
  • Currently pursuing a degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Strong interest in learning the fundamentals of human resources.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to handle confidential information with professionalism and discretion.
  • Detail-oriented with strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
  • Basic understanding of Microsoft Office applications.
