Position Overview:

Senior Designer, a few miles under your feet and deep grooves on the wacom. Have had some big wins and even bigger failures. Have come to realize that adversity is part of the process. That you can’t control the outcome, only how we the team experience the journey together. You’ve really started to hone that seeker solver engine. Moving through the tools is effortless, yet there’s always more to learn. Projects are a little less of a whirlwind now, and you can start to see the roadmap before things begin, making a good plan is just as exciting as finding a new typeface. Collaborating with all the different stakeholders internally and externally under pressure isn’t as overwhelming as it once was, and the shock of timelines and compromises are more familiar now. You’re beginning to find your voice with internal and client presentations, palms are still sweaty, but you’re prepared. You’re eager for the next level, to listen, learn, and grow alongside a team of makers and thinkers. 

Responsibilities:

• Creation of original content
• Partner and manage projects from concept to delivery
• Review work to ensure quality and strategic alignment
• Ensure brand consistency throughout various marketing projects.
• Liaise between all partners, internal and external, to ensure quality work and deadlines are met
• Stay culturally relevant within your craft, serving as a thought leader
• Guide and advise fellow employees in both the creative process and client management to foster stronger working relationships and solutions
• Supervise designers and/or interns, responsible for assigning tasks, overseeing and coaching on creative process, and ensuring on-time and on-budget delivery of projects
• Lead by example, upholding MullenLowe’s core values and to act as a mentor to other members of the creative team.

Qualifications:

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in graphic arts, design, or communications required; or equivalent work experience in the advertising industry.
• Experience: Minimum of 5 years’ experience in an advertising agency required.
• Software: Expertise in Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator, Acrobat), Google G-Suite, MS Office applications (Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, Word) required.
• Portfolio of work covering a wide range of creative projects
• Soft Skills:

• • Strong conceptual and design skills
  • Comfortable presenting to internal and external stakeholders, regularly delivering and receiving feedback
  • Resilience dealing with a wide range of expectations and opinions
  • Ability to work both independently and in a team environment
  • Strong organizational skills and the ability to multi-task

The salary range for this position is $110,000 to $130,000. Where an employee or prospective employee is paid within this range will depend on, among other factors, actual ranges for current/former employees in the subject position; market considerations; budgetary considerations; tenure and standing with the company (applicable to current employees); as well as the employee’s/applicant’s background, pertinent experience and qualifications.
