Job Description
$45,000 - $55,000 yearly
Responsibilities:- Write daily reports of work completed
- Apply pesticide as needed for weed control
- Help the crew team with landscape design, landscape installation, landscape construction, and landscape maintenance
- Maintain flower beds with a sprinkler or irrigation system
- Do general lawn care duties like groundskeeping, and lawn maintenance including mowing, raking, mulching, weeding, fertilizing, edging, and pruning
- Load and unload equipment and materials
- Prepare the ground for mulch installation
- Spread mulch in a timely and efficient manner
- Communicate effectively with team members and clients
- Follow all safety protocols and company policies
- Driver’s license or reliable transportation to and from the work site is required
- 2 years of experience as a landscaper for residential or commercial properties
- Experience with a variety of hand tools and maintenance equipment including clippers, chain saws, lawnmowers, blowers, edgers, rakes, and hedge trimmers
- Great physical health and stamina
- Must be a hard-worker with high attention to detail and have a strong work ethic
- Previous experience in landscaping or construction preferred
- Ability to lift heavy equipment and materials
- Strong work ethic and attention to detail
- Ability to work well in a team environment
- Willingness to learn and be trained on both manual and pneumatic installations
