We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Mulch Retail Yard Manager to join our team. As the manager of our mulch retail yard, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of the yard operations, including managing inventory, supervising staff, and providing exceptional customer service.

$20 - $25 hourly

• Inventory Management: You will be responsible for maintaining accurate inventory levels of all mulch products. This includes tracking sales, monitoring stock levels, and placing orders with suppliers.
• Staff Supervision: As the manager, you will be responsible for hiring, training, and supervising a team of yard employees. This includes setting work schedules, delegating tasks, and providing guidance and support to ensure the yard operates efficiently.
• Customer Service: Providing exceptional customer service is a top priority for us. You will be responsible for ensuring that all customers are greeted and assisted in a timely and friendly manner. You will also handle any customer inquiries, complaints, or issues in a professional and satisfactory manner.
• Yard Maintenance: You will be responsible for maintaining a clean and organized yard at all times. This includes overseeing the loading and unloading of products, as well as ensuring that all equipment and machinery is properly maintained and in good working condition.
• Sales and Marketing: As the manager, you will be responsible for promoting our mulch products and driving sales. This includes creating marketing strategies, developing promotional materials, and participating in community events to increase brand awareness.
• Safety and Compliance: It is essential that our yard operates in compliance with all safety regulations. You will be responsible for ensuring that all employees are trained in safety procedures and that all equipment and machinery is properly maintained.

• High School Diploma or equivalent, Bachelor's degree preferred.
• Minimum of 3 years experience in retail management, preferably in a yard or landscaping setting.
• Strong leadership skills and ability to manage a team effectively.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Knowledge of mulch products and the landscaping industry.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
• Proficient in inventory management and basic computer skills.
• Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs and work in outdoor weather conditions.
