Requirement:
Minimum of seven (7) years of experience applying Enterprise Architecture principals.
At lease five (5) years of that experience must be in a lead capacity.
Must possess a Bachelor's degree in an IT-related or Engineering field.
Additional qualifying experience may be substituted for the required education on a year-foryear basis.
Must possess a valid Windows Server Hybrid Administrator Associate Certification from Microsoft.
Possession of a valid DevOps Engineer Expert Certification from Microsoft.
Possession of a valid VMware Certified Advanced Professional-Data Center Virtualization Design (VCAP-DCV Design) Certification from VMware.
Possession of a valid DevOps Engineer Professional Certification from Amazon Web Services (AWS).
Possession of a valid Azure Network Engineer Associate Certification from Microsoft.
Possession of a valid VMware Certified Professional-Security (VCP-SEC) Certification from VMware.
Possession of a valid Advanced Networking Specialty Certification from AWS.
Possession of a valid Azure Security Engineer Associate Certification from Microsoft.
Possession of a valid Security Specialty Certification from AWS.
1. Infrastructure Design and Analysis: Developing and designing robust IT infrastructure architectures that meet business requirements. This includes analyzing existing systems and proposing improvements or replacements.
2. Strategic Planning: Aligning IT infrastructure planning with the organization's strategic objectives. This involves understanding the long-term goals of the business and ensuring that the IT infrastructure can scale and adapt as needed.
3. Project Management: Leading infrastructure-related projects from conception through to implementation, including resource allocation, timeline management, and budgeting.
4. Technical Leadership: Providing technical guidance and leadership to other IT staff, acting as a mentor and ensuring best practices are followed.
5. Vendor Management: Assessing vendors and technologies for potential investment, managing vendor relationships, and negotiating contracts for hardware, software, and services related to IT infrastructure.
6. Capacity Planning: Analyzing data on system usage and growth patterns to forecast future infrastructure needs and ensuring that sufficient capacity is maintained for storage, computing power, and networking.
7. Disaster Recovery and Business Continuity: Designing and implementing disaster recovery and business continuity plans for IT infrastructure to minimize downtime and data loss in the event of a disaster.
8. Security: Ensuring that the IT infrastructure adheres to security best practices and regulatory requirements, and is protected against cyber threats.
9. Performance Monitoring and Optimization: Regularly reviewing system performance, identifying bottlenecks or issues, and optimizing infrastructure for maximum efficiency and performance. 10. Documentation: Creating and maintaining comprehensive documentation for IT infrastructure architecture, policies, and procedures, creating runbooks.
11. Innovation: Researching and recommending new technologies or improvements that could enhance system performance, reduce costs, or provide competitive advantages.
12. Problem-Solving: Troubleshooting complex infrastructure issues that may involve multiple systems or technologies.
13. Technology includes: VMware, VXrails, M365 G5 Suite of tools, Splunk, Dell Compute and Storage, Certification Automation, Conditional Access, MFA, Linux, Backup Software.
