```Overview```
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Bookkeeper to join our team. As a Bookkeeper, you will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, preparing financial reports, and performing various accounting tasks. The ideal candidate has a strong understanding of financial concepts, is proficient in bookkeeping software, and has excellent attention to detail.

```Duties```
- Record financial transactions and maintain accurate general ledger accounts
- Prepare and analyze financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements
- Perform bank reconciliations and ensure accuracy of all financial data
- Process payroll and maintain employee records
- Prepare and file tax returns in compliance with applicable regulations
- Assist with budgeting and forecasting processes
- Generate financial reports for management review
- Conduct periodic audits to ensure compliance with GAAP standards
- Collaborate with external auditors during annual audits
- Provide support to the finance team as needed

```Requirements```
- Proven experience as a Bookkeeper or similar role
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles and practices
- Proficiency in bookkeeping software (e.g., QuickBooks, Xero)
- Familiarity with financial report writing and analysis
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
- Strong organizational skills and ability to prioritize tasks
- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
- Knowledge of payroll processing procedures
- Understanding of GAAP standards and governmental accounting regulations
