POSITION SUMMARY:
Responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:
1. Targets and maintains extensive contact with individuals, businesses and centers of influence throughout metro Atlanta with a focus on the more immediate area of the assigned financial centers; maintains extensive contact with customers and the community; plans and schedules proactive visits to prospective customers; aggressively competes for loans, deposits, and other banking relationships, establishes effective and lasting business relationships; responds quickly to referrals.

2. Attends, participates, promotes, and represents the bank at business, professional, and community events, meetings, organizations, associations, programs, functions, and activities to support and broaden company image and visibility. Serves on company, business, and other bank related professional committees and boards; participates in CRA activities, other bank related functions, community organizations and projects.

3. Generates $4.5M to $8M annually in funded loans consisting of commercial and consumer loans (loan size $5,000 to $2,000,000), new deposit relationships totaling $337,500 to $600,000 annually, loan fees and other fee income of $45,000 to $80,000 and 96 (8 per month) cross-sell solutions on an annual basis. Proficient at documenting and reporting business development and pipeline activity.

4. Works closely with the financial centers, banking relationship managers, mortgage loan officers, retail managers, officers and other personnel and departments to successfully accomplish overall production goals and objectives. 

5. Conducts researches and assists with the updating, enhancing, reviewing, identifying, developing, recommending and implementing quality new and existing banking products and services; explores, identifies, and targets sales and business opportunities; resolves and responds to customers concerns and complaints. 

6. Maintains a sound working knowledge of all products and services offered by the bank, its subsidiaries, strategic alliances, third-party vendors, and competitors. Stays abreast of all aspects of banking, business development, and new banking trends, banking laws and regulations, developments, practices and programs.
7. Demonstrates commitment to excellence; consistently provides superior customer service to all internal and external customers, venders, service providers, and other prospective customers; checks and promptly responds timely to all voice mail messages, e-mails, referrals, customer requests, and complaints received. Regularly reviews work flow to ensure excellent customer service; adheres to department response turn around standards. Promotes a positive attitude and team approach to customer relationships.
8. Develops and executes business development and strategic plans for meeting production and sales goals and objectives; assists with marketing and public relations related functions, projects and efforts.
9. Strong knowledge of the credit approval process and be able to gather and compile financial documents to submit for the credit package
10. Assists with developing, implementing, and facilitating customer education, training and communication programs.
11. Informs manager in a timely manner of problems, issues, and concerns that may jeopardize the achievement of objectives and goals, and those which are not being addressed adequately at the management level.
12. Demonstrates consistent professional appearance, image, ethics, integrity, and represents the CTB Brand
QUALIFICATIONS, SKILLS AND ABILITIES:
• Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, business administration, economics, or related field
• Minimum three years of commercial lending experience required
• Consumer lending experience a plus
• Ability to call on an existing book of business a plus
• General understanding of the commercial credit underwriting process
• Demonstrated ability to understand credit risk and be able to properly evaluate and disclose risk in a relationship
• Basic analytical and financial analysis skill
• Excellent interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills
• Proven sales skills
• Must have strong knowledge of surrounding communities and markets
• Good understanding of commercial lending’s policies, industry trends, regulations, and laws
• Clear understanding of different types of financial statements and credit reports
• Exceptional sales, business development, and relationship building skills are essential
• Excellent quality customer service skills and ability to establish relationships in a manner that enhances the overall marketing efforts of the bank
• Ambitious, analytical, self- motivated individual with a strong work ethic, positive attitude and ability to work both independently and as part of team
• Ability to effectively present information to external groups and well an internal presentations to officer loan committees, executive management and board of directors
• Must have excellent leadership and interpersonal skills
• Ability to multi-task and handle multiple projects
• Excellent time management skills and the ability to analyze work flow and set priorities to meet deadlines
• Strong persuasive and negotiation skills
• Demonstrated ability to work in a fast pace, high volume environment and must be adaptable to change
• Demonstrate ability to maintain composure and convey a positive and professional image at all times
• Ability to handle and maintain confidential information and matters
• Ability to relate to internal and external customers with a high degree of professionalism
• Ability to think logically and strategically
• Possesses a high level of integrity
• Ability to facilitate successful business meetings
• Demonstrated professional appearance is essential
• Excellent presentation and communication skills (verbal and written)
• Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel and the Internet
• Professional telephone etiquette, appearance, and demeanor
• Ability to comply with bank policies, procedures, regulations, and laws
