Here are Your Responsibilities as a Residential Electrician at Mr. Electric

As one our first Residential Service Electricians, you are a founding member of our team and will collaborate directly with ownership and have significant influence in growing the business.

Our customers look to your expertise to help solve their issues and build confidence that their home will be safe.

You will help customers with various electrical needs, from installations to repairs. This could range from installing basic fixtures to replacing a home's electrical panel and wiring.

Note : Complex troubleshooting is often involved so experience as a residential service electrician is a must!

• Maintain compliance with both the company safety and federal OSHA safety standards. Implement necessary protocols and safeguards during any given job.
• Have the ability to identify problems with common wiring such as panel imbalance, improper breaker usage, lack of protective devices such as GFI's, etc.
• Have a basic knowledge of frame carpentry and construction techniques. The ability to lead and inspire apprentice electricians when needed to provide field support.
• You are the face of Mr. Electric and will be interacting with the homeowner to deliver the customer service that Mr. Electric is known for.

Job Requirements

The following are the minimum requirements for the Residential Electrician position.

• Minimum 2 years of prior professional-level electrical experience
• Valid driver’s license and clean driving record
• Must be able to lift, push, pull 50 pounds.
• Must be able to work in crawl spaces and comfortable working at various heights using ladders, scaffold or other as necessary.
• Must have his / her own set of journeyman electrical hand tools. Tool list provided at time of hiring.

Pay and Benefits

The starting pay range for our Residential Apprentice Electrician is $23.50 to $31.80 per hour, depending on your level of experience (for the first 60 days).

This is guaranteed as you gain the experience necessary to earn more.

Our Service Professionals are paid a base hourly rate. As you near the 60 day period we'll change you over to an incentivized pay structure that equals what you are making at your hourly rate.

From there your earnings will be based on performance, additional work performed, and overall job profitability. We remove the limits to what you can earn.

You'll have unlimited earnings potential.

We take care of setting all the appointments so you can focus on doing what you do best - repairing and upgrading our customers' homes.
