Job Summary:
We are seeking a reliable and hardworking individual to join our team as a Busser. As a Busser, you will play a vital role in ensuring the cleanliness and efficiency of our restaurant. Your main responsibility will be to assist the waitstaff and kitchen staff in providing excellent customer service by clearing tables, refilling drinks, and maintaining a clean dining area.
Duties:
- Clear tables promptly and efficiently after guests have finished their meals
- Maintain cleanliness of dining area, including wiping down tables and chairs
- Communicate with both customers and staff in a friendly and professional manner
- Follow all food handling and safety guidelines to ensure a safe dining experience for guests
Skills:
- Previous experience in a similar role within the food service industry is preferred
- Strong communication skills to effectively interact with customers and team members
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
- Knowledge of proper bussing techniques to efficiently clear tables
- Basic understanding of food handling procedures to maintain cleanliness and safety standards
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required
