As an IT Manager you will:

  • Manage and maintain the IT infrastructure including servers, hardware, and software systems.
  • Monitor and maintain Microsoft network software including installation and testing of upgrades as needed.
  • Ensure the security of information systems and data by implementing policies and procedures for robust cyber security measures, back up solutions, disaster recovery plans, and maintenance and monitoring of user and passwords for all networked servers.
  • Establish and manage relationships with the vendors, service provides, and contractors to ensure the delivery of high-quality IT services and support.
  • Provide technical support and troubleshooting assistance to end-users for all IT systems, including servers, PC’s, operating systems, telephones, software applications, and peripherals, resolving issues in a timely manner to minimize downtime and disruptions.
  • Oversee the installation, configuration, and maintenance of enterprise applications and software solutions used in manufacturing processes.
  • Recommend and develop strategies to the Leadership Team to enhance client services, improve user effectiveness, and foster innovation.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify IT needs, evaluate technology solutions, and implement process improvements.
  • Lead IT projects from conception to completion including requirements gathering, planning, budgeting, resource allocation, and implementation.
  • Develop and maintain standard operating procedures and best practices, including providing written protocols and guidance to end-users.
  • Ensure the creation and maintenance of all written documentation, including system and user manuals, license agreements, and documentation of modifications and upgrades.
  • Stay current with industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in IT management and manufacturing automation and determine what new technology solutions and implementations will meet business and system requirements.

Qualifications

  • Proven 5 years of experience in IT management roles, preferably within a manufacturing environment
  • Deep understanding of manufacturing processes, supply chain management, and ERP systems
  • Technical skills in network infrastructure, systems administration, cyber security, and database management
  • Effective leadership abilities with experience in mentoring, coaching, and developing IT teams
  • Certified Novell Engineer or Microsoft Certified Solutions Expert preferred
