MP RPO is Hiring a Payroll Manager Near Andover, MA

Who are you:

My client is looking for an experienced Payroll Manager who has the experience to provide oversight of the entire payroll process for a rapidly growing company. This position requires accuracy, integrity, and timeliness of data entry to the HRIS/Payroll systems. Prevailing Wage experience is a plus as well as a comprehensive understanding of State and Federal regulations pertaining to timekeeping is of utmost importance. In addition, you will support the Vice President of Human Resources with processing of new hires, separations, employee changes, benefits, LOA's, worker's compensation and accurate employee/payroll file maintenance.

What you will be doing:

  • High volume payroll processing
  • Multi-state payroll
  • Process bi-weekly payroll
  • Input garnishment information
  • Administers all payroll functions to ensure a timely and accurate payroll processing
  • Process and maintain employee payroll records including employee changes, verification of employment and garnishment issues
  • Process manual or special checks and check runs as required
  • Prepares and performs internal payroll audits of current payroll and year to date payroll data
  • Prepares internal and external reporting including Labor Reports, Paid Time Off reporting, and 401k Audit Reporting
  • Research and resolves basic payroll issues and escalates as needed
  • Review and resolve time and attendance discrepancies
  • Ensures the execution of established company pay policies and practices
  • Ensures federal, state and local tax compliance in a multi-state environment
  • Actively participates in year-end activities, reconcile and distributes W2 forms as required
  • Proactively identifies payroll improvement processes and efficiencies through the use of the system delivered tools
  • Responds to all payroll inquiries

Our ideal candidate has:

  • 3 years of experience in Payroll Administration Role
  • 2 years of experience in Prevailing Wage Experience- Multi-state
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Attention to detail and strong numeracy skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with a sense of urgency

Additional information:

  • Full Time Position: Monday - Friday, 8:00 am-5:00 pm
  • Salary: 100k
