Movemedical is Hiring a Project Coordinator Near Remote, CO

Job Description

The Project Coordinator assists Project Managers and Customer Success Managers by executing and monitoring project and release management tasks. The ultimate goal of this role is to help projects and releases stay organized and on schedule.

Projects can range from large implementations for new clients to smaller efforts with existing clients. 

Releases can be inclusive of major releases of new functionality, hotfixes, security improvements, and minor enhancements. Where necessary, they provide tools and services to help engineering, project teams, and technical support teams manage and deploy releases into production and non-production environments. 

Responsibilities

Project execution and monitoring activities include:

  • Coordinating communications among team members, including scheduling regular status meetings and written communications to ensure team alignment

  • Monitor and report on task and milestone status relative to established deadlines

  • Escalate any observed issues to project managers

  • Establish close working relationships with internal staff and client personnel involved in projects

  • Following up on incomplete or incorrect documentation, Jira task statuses, logged work, etc.

Release management activities include:

  • Scheduling and hosting release planning meetings

  • Updating release schedules as timelines change

  • Scheduling and hosting change management meetings

  • Noting and following up on any action items resulted from release meetings

  • Monitoring and ensuring release preparation activity completion

  • Communicate release schedule and status to internal and external stakeholders throughout the lifecycle

  • Monitoring and ensuring post-release activity completion

  • Identify and raise release risks to Project Managers and Customer Success managers

  • Establish close working relationships with internal staff and client personnel involved in the release management process

Exceptions

The following responsibilities will be owned by Project Managers and therefore are not the responsibility of the Release Manager:

  • Project planning

  • Assignment and management of development and testing resources

  • Management of project or release risks

  • Assessing project issues and developing resolutions to meet productivity, quality, and client-satisfaction goals and objectives

Requirements

  • 1-2 years or more of experience in information systems projects or other projects of substantial complexity

  • Demonstrated ability to coordinate cross-functional work teams toward task completion

  • Demonstrated effective leadership and analytical skills

  • Advanced written and verbal communication skills
